Looking at a pair of jdm fenders for my prelude, but what im wondering is later down the road if i go to sell my car does having jdm stuff add value to the car or remove it?

Re: (1epmugenlude)
IMO lower the value no matter to who you sell... when I buy a car, I want it to be bone stock, with full dealership work history.
Anything that deviates from stock, increases the chances that the car was driven roughly. This is all personal opinion though.
There is a small market out there of people who do want a modded car (instead of doing it themselves), forums are a good place to sell such cars actually.

what about the jdm climate control, or the power folding mirrors, or the yellow jdm fog lights? i especially love the headlights.........
if u are just looking long term at just the fenders then just keep the old ones and switch them back on when u sell the car. then sell the jdm fenders seperately here on HT.com

Problem is i bought the car for 400 (great fraeking deal) the guy had laid a center divider down my driver side. My fender on my driver side is all messed up, passenger side is decent, plus the car is gonna get painted, so i cant just throw the old ones on when if i go to sell it. I guess ill just put a stock one on, i was just wondering, cause i do wanna put some one piece headlights and foglights on too.

i don't know about every1 but when u sell it to a random person they won't even realise that the fenders are jdm. only people who know the car really well would.

dude... you paid $400.
what are you worried about? you're going to profit either way.
besides, if you sell to a small market joe schmo used car lot, he won't know anyway...

personally i think the jdm fenders are the ugliest thing ever. if i were buying a lude i would try to talk the person down or have them throw the original fenders in so i can put them back on.
now if it were a h23A dohc vtec motor you were putting in i would say that def increases the value
