i drive a boosted b20a5... i can usually get like 310-330 out of a tank... with boosting here and there. cost to fill up 50-55 bucks... on average getting 25-27mpg. once i get my new clutch in, i should be hitting pretty decent numbers due to being tuned and not boosting. lol

JDM H22a with basic I/H/E mods and P28 eCtune tuned...
Last time I checked I drove 500km on 50 liter... 1:10, that's like 310 miles on 13,2 gallons so 23,5 mpg.
That's with a lot of short home-office trips with stop-and-go. Every weekend I put somewhere between 200-300km on the clock mostly highway driving (speeds ranging 120 - 245 km/h / 75 - 150+ mph)
Filled it up last friday, 48 liter 98oct, 83 euro's... 12,7 gallons, $130 (so you guys have absolutely no right to complain about the price of gas )

Re: (BB1LOViN)
right now im getting about 15-16mpg city. i used to get bout 17-20 a month ago. what gives?
on the last tank out of 277 with about 150 of it hwy, i got an avg of 23mpg. not bad. but when my friend drives my car, he got 30mpg a couple months ago. much steadier foot than mine.
whats the cheapest way to try to improve mpg? spark plugs and fuel system cleaner? or what?

Re: (snzh22)
Driving habits are probably the best way if your car is otherwise in good shape. I usally get about 23mpg but I cant keep my fott of the gas.

I am in US, but have a Canadian 93 SR (2.3L) - all stock, recently rebuilt auto transmission. 234K miles - runs well, but not perfect. Drive conservative, but not docile - work and back, 8 miles each way - 50/50 city/hwy. I was getting about 14mpg, then changed to new O2 sensor and I get 22-23mpg now.

my car smokes like a diesel truck. but i still get 25-28mpg... weird. 80% rush hour traffic. (burns 2-3 quarts of oil per tank of gas.. saving for a new car)

Something is wrong here......Thats horrible! Are you running any sort of piggyback i.e. VAFC?
Thats nothing! /\
I get 16mpg city even if i baby her shifting at 3k. Recently lowered idle to 800rpm, new plugs and plug wires, flushed egr with seafoam, nothing i am doing is helping at all. I am lucky to get 200 out of a tank of gas... Someone give me sum d*** solutions.. Engine is h22a4 with i/h/e tuned with crome. I think my timing is off a little but would it make that much of a difference?
