How loud is your H22?
Is the H22a suppose to be noisey after its warmed up and been driven?
on a cold start the engine idles perfectly, everythings ok
I can have it idle all damn day and it sounds fine
I drive it down the street and back and I get this mechanically kind of wurrrring noise, at first I though it was the valves, had them adjusted still there.
I've had the timing belt changed recently and the tensionner
The car drives perfectly fine but the sound is kinda annonying if I dont have my music going?
maybe the timing belt was done to tight? would that make a noticable sound?
the sound does change pitch with reving and seems to go away after 2.5k
any ideas? If I can't firgure it out soon I'm gonna have to take it in, Not sure if I want to get my car tuned while this sound is going?

wurring noise? how about a sound clip. idno about other motors but my h22 is quiet as ****. the only noise i get from it that's noticeable is this whining noise from my cheapass belts.

yeah its more a winning really then a wurring, it's probably just the belts as all the sound is coming from that area.
I'll try and get a sound clip but all I dot is my **** chocolate phone to record atm

As a matter of fact, after i swapped in my Type-S, i could not believe how loud VTEC is compared to the old motor. Everytime i hit VTEC someone pulls up next to me and says "Holy Shiet dogz, yo VTEC kicks in mad foking loud son"!
