How do/did you like your BB4 Prelude?
Thinking about picking up a black on black, 5spd 92 Prelude with 160k on the original motor, clean title. The car looks pretty nice, and I've always been a fan of some of the nicer ones on here. I don't think this one has the H22 in it, that's only the Si, correct? Are they fun cars? Reliable? Comfortable?
If you have any reviews, please share. I'd be giving up my Integra for one, and it would stay stock for quite some time till I decided to start saving for a few things for it.
The car that inspired me to go after a BB4

Re: How do/did you like your BB4 Prelude? (sixfiveoh)
I've always been a prelude fan, loved BB6's, owned a 3rd gen a few years back...never liked BB4's that much though. Also had an integra (RS), the ludes are better in some ways worse in others.
Given what I've said, that is definitely the nicest 4th gen i've ever seen (rims could be just an inch bigger). And that does look like an H22...

You'll love it. I have had hatches, civic coupes and an integra and my favorite honda will always be the Prelude. It comes with a great engine with 160-200 horses depending on which one you get. Its a tad on the small side in the interior and you only have room for 2 small midgets inthe backseat. It has a lot of potential and I love the way they look. I'm trying to find a 95 Vtec myself. Good luck.

Appreciate all of the responses you guys... I'd like to pick up a VTEC, but it looks to be out of my budget right now. Oh well, a clean body is always a candidate for a swap down the line.

Why not refrain from posting in this thread if you have nothing to contribute? Plenty of car related threads are posted in this section since it reaches a greater audience. Don't be a dick.

So tell me about your car, man! How do you like it? Is it an original VTEC model or is it a swap? Anything you want more out of it, is it decent performance in stock form, or will the Si feel slow compared to a stock DA?
BTW, a main motive of getting this car is that I'm in LOVE with the dash

Wasn't being a dick. I was simply stating put this in the Prelude forum where everyone owns a Prelude; you'll be hitting your target market and not the masses of GDD.
There are a lot of car related threads in GDD, but usually not ones that have their own section on this website, dick.

Why'd you post up pics of the interior (sheds a tear). Now I HAVE to find another prelude. I love the interior too.

I like them. Very wide track, hard to upset on the track. Unsung heroes, capable of quite a bit, but not as well supported as the DC2 ITR.
ABS is not as good as the ITR.
I don't know why they're not more popular. They were very expensive in their day, too.
