honest opinion
what do yall think would be a better setup for a street / strip monster ...
I had a debate with my friend today about what motor we should build ..
b20vtec .. all motor .. 75 shot
or
h22a turbo
either of these motors will be going in our street hatch

lol ... im not scared of turbo .. we are already building a SOHC turbo .. we wanted to do something different .. but seems like h22 turbo is what yall think would be better .. I personally wanted to go All motor .. $$ and HP isnt the question ... i wanted N/a cause it is more challenging .. and b20vtec ( under 1500 .. block & head ) compared to h22 ( $2500 complete motor ) it just seems like we will have more room to go custom on the b20 setup .. ill talk to my friend and see whats up .. thanks for yalls responses !!!

one thing is that we have to worry more about is angles of airflow rather then just stuffing more air in. (i.e. N/A Intake mani vs. Turbo intake mani)
otherwise... it just costs a crap load for parts that make an NA screamer. its more limiting then changing a pully or what have you.

Sure, I understand that it's more expensive. I just don't think it's any more "challenging"

If you want my honest opinion, I think you're gay! No offense to the homo sexual community, although the word does carry some sort of negative connotation, I am directly aiming it toward you and not them. Because a lot of homo sexuals' are hard working, intelligent people unlike you who is just a fat boy that buys ricey cars.

what the hell are you talking about?
honestly i think the h22 turbo will yield much more power. but the NA b20 vtec would be a fun car to build.

Re: honest opinion (dagle)
Hey theSquad, you have prob worked with alot of b-series setups. Why not try an h22 turbo setup? Here is a link to a thread of some h22 setups making lots of power...just for ideas https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1833278
