Is the h23 thermastat cover the same as the h22
like the title says is the h23 thermastat cover the same as the h22 and wat about the tensor for the timing belt?
i need help on this because i am trying to finish this engine up and put it bck into my car

Yeah both things are different on the 2 motors, the thermostat cover isn't very expensive though even from the dealer. The tensioner for the H23a1 is the better of the 2 and will bolt to the H22a, it's far more reliable.

Yes, just search manual tensioner conversion, people have been doing it for years and is something that is usually the first thing done.
