Default H22a no power

Hi I have a 1998 prelude h22a type sh motor. My car is very sluggish and it feels like im barely making 100 hp. My car takes forever to get through the rpm range. I have headers, catback exhaust and aem intake. It cracks Vtec hard but it has no top end power. Any ideas what I can check to see why?
Thanks

I am in this club to but my VTEC wont Engage. I also have a rev cut at 6500. I also made my dizzy out of parts from a f22 one so I think that may be the issue. I ordered a new dizzy so Ill let you know what it does in my case. If there is an issue with our cars the 1st think to look at is the dizzy. I even keep an extra in my trunk my my spare tire.

Hondas like fresh spark plugs, NGK only. Start with your basic tune up. Its stuff that doesn't hurt to have new and not too expensive. My tensioner failed and lucky for me all was ok as it failed out of VTEC. You could be off a tooth on timing which would give you a huge lack of power issue. If you check your timing and start taking the belt off, make sure you either have the tensioner retaining tool or the manual tensioner parts to re-install everything. Im sure the hard core guys can get you all the part numbers to convert to manual tensioner, some may know them off the top of their heads.
Mine is a 1993 lude, and I love the way it pulls.

put the car on a computer and see if you pull anything and not just a scan tool you might be having some ecu issues which has put your car into a limp situation.

Check your ignition timing and if that checks out check your mechanical timing.
