h22 stroke
im planning to boost my h22a, naturally a bigger displacement would yeald higher gains with fi. if i use a f22 crank and h23 rods apparently it increases the displacement to 2.3 (not done the exact calculations yet) but would the power gain warrant the extra strain on the engine?
BTW i would have the crank balanced and knife edged

you dont need to stroke the motor for gains man youre forced induction...lol for what 40-50hp? and no knife edging cranks on a turbo motor you will need that counterweight strength and momentum...but thats my .02 cents

ahh, so knife edge'd crank good for na only? i think i will keep the stock stroke actually, i want the engine to retain some of its higher revving quality's.

if i sleeved to 89mm what power gains can i expect and will this lower the highest potential psi?

there's really no need for that extra work when going turbo unless you are really serious about racing and doing everything possible to get the edge on the competition. people are making 800 hp on stock bore/stroke turbo motors. i made 680 hp @ 28psi, stock bore and stroke. i can make more the only thing holding me back is my turbo size and map sensor (3bar).

exactly youre always safer boring out the cylinders to 89mm for more displacement then ****** with the rs ratio...chicks dig the revving... i mean typically you leave more cylinder meat for hg clamping but if the machine work is **** on 89mm will be reliable...
