gas tank drain plug
Is their a drain plug on the tank for 5th gens ? The car is going to be sitting awhile and i figured instead of adding any additives i should just drain it and throw the remaining gas into another car for the time being.

I'd personally store it with a full tank to keep any rust from forming, but that might not be an issue. I had my 5Gen up on jackstands for years (yes, years), and I just drained the gas afterwards and mixed it in with fresh gas in my other cars. I then put fresh gas in the tank when I started up the new engine.

I didn't notice any problems, and that gas was in my tank for 3 years. No clogged fuel lines or anything like that either.
I did not use any type of fuel stabilizer. I probably should have.
