Default is the engine in the 2.2 CL the same as the prelude?

If this car has the H22A that would be a pretty sweet platform to have a in a luxury coupe

I believe the V6 2DR Accord coupes have the "J" motor family. Not the new ones that is, the 00' body style ones.

I beleive it is, and you guys are talking about two different model CL's....

The new CL's have the J series engines (J32)

For the older style (pre 99?) that carried the F22 it is very easy to put the h22 in and it would be a huge performance gain. the 3.0's from those years aren't that good and the h22 could run circles around it with the right parts. There is someone who posted on this forum a month or so ago that had done the swap, and it looked good. I would search for it.

As far as the new CL were talking about apples to oranges...

Does it have the same motor mounts as the 2.2? If so, that means a j30a4 will swap with an H22.

Mmmm, 3 liter powa.....
