EFJ's 4th Gen Re-build/Upgrade
Ok here it goes. I live in South Africa and I have a 4th gen prelude that I want to re-build/upgrade (I am no professional mechanic but know my way around cars and DIY a lot). One of my challenges is that here gen4 prelude parts are scarce and importing is very expensive due to the rand not been so strong, so this build will take some time to reach the end result I am aiming for. I use the car as a daily driver alternatively to my BMW X5. I want to dress the body up first before I do any engine mods (not looking for a racer). I will post some pics of how it currently looks but nothing special at the moment. It has a JDM F22B DOHC motor which runs ok. A double DIN DVD player with a 10 inch pioneer sub and pioneer 6x9's. Oh it comes with an auto gearbox as well.
I have done a lot of reading on different builds and setups till my eyes have gone 'cross eyed'. I don't know where to start but looking at body kits etc.
Any suggestions would be nice or even ideas.
I will post my ideas with pics and questions (and there is a few) later on.

Everyone will say to swap in a jdm h22 or h23 vtec, so there's that route.
It wouldn't take much to get yours like that one. Drop it, get front and rear lips, put some side skirts on and get some bigger rims w/ low pro tires.

Re: EFJ's 4th Gen Re-build/Upgrade
I was looking at a H22a black cover (i think they do around 160kw) and then I thought what would I get if I turbo my F22B. On the other hand I don't want to sacrifice my aircon (as it gets very, very hot where I live 35C to 45C). I have my eye on a different front spoiler/bumper. I will post pics of the bumper. Also going to settle on 17's and KONI suspension with around a 40mm drop. As for side skirts and rear lip I will source some off a accord from the junk yard.

Maybe do a plasti dip but still contemplating that or just save up for a nice 'Ferrari Red' with a slight flip paint.
