Default Do not buy from Shutta

Sorry to do this Shutta but i seriously tried to contact you at least 5-10 times about this issue.

I purchased a center console from Shutta back in december. I paid by money order which ****ed me over now because i can't make a claim. I paid him i believe $60 for it shipped. Well, he informed me the money order showed up and he cashed it. Unfortunately, my center console has not shown up.

I contacted him saying it has not shown up and for a while he said he hopes it was not lost in the mail and all that jazz. It came to the point where i think we both gave up hope that it would arrive at my place safely. Now here is what pisses me off. I told him to refund my money. I told him that USPS has a minimun $100 insurance that is free so i asked him to call them up, make a claim, and if they could not locate it they would pay him back all the money for the lost item and he could send my money back. Guess what... he never got back to me and continues to ignore my PM's

This is a warning to everyone DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER. He is not a responsible seller and was/is not willing to do something as simple as going to the post office to file a claim so i can get my money back.

eh, we'll get a hold of him for ya than. If he really sent that item and he's part of H-T here than he has an obligation to resolve this. If he didn't however send the item and is just scamming you than he's a loser and we'll never hear from him again likely!

i've had problems with shutta in a past deal, took about a month or two of sending private messages to him every other day to get my parts.. funny thing was I was hooking him up in the trade and he shafted me on the delay in shipping and seperate the parts into two shipments. bleh.

AYE!

I made this thread to give him the oppourtunity to speak up and explain what is up. It is as simple as walking to the post office, filing a claim, having them call him back in a few days if they find/don't find the package and if they do find it they simply make sure it gets to me or they issue him a refund and he sends my money back to me. Really not that difficult or time consuming.

I have never had a package held up in customs for more than a few days. I have ordered easily over 100 parts from the US and this is actually one of the first times i have ever been screwed over. I have only ever had 1 other package lost in the mail and that was resolved.

Just to clarify that USPS (the post office) does not offer minimum insurance of $100. If you didn't pay for insurance, it's not covered.

UPS on the other hand has $100 insurance coverage by default. It also comes with a tracking number. So verify how the package was shipped first.

USPS does cover for express mail. Sadly i am pretty sure this was not shipped express. I know that Canada post does cover all packages at a minimum for $100, so does fedex and UPS.

Since this thread has been made, I'm assuming I'm not the only one. I sent him $35 through money order for the amber bumper lights back in early January and I haven't seen my parts yet. I've basically been playing PM tag with him. It seems he never comes online so I was trying to give him a chance to reply but now that this thread has been made I'm a pretty pissed that my parts are not here yet. He also told me that he was sending my parts through USPS. I even went to the post office to see if there was any record of the parts being sent and they told me no.

Actually, I just check my PMs. I sent my payment in mid December. It's been way too long to get my stuff. I want my money back. Should be $35 plus the cost to get a money order and the cost to send the money order through priority with a signature through USPS.

I'll wait until he gets a chance to see this thread.

who pays with money orders nowadays, PAYPAL PEOPLE PAYPAL

I had an issue where someone else shipped me a hood via UPS. I paid him 125 but the hinges got damaged in shipping. We filed a claim and he got the 100 back on top of my 125. i told him he only had to send me the 100 back since he was trying to help me out and i appreciated his time since he had to ship the hood and now go through the steps to file the claim. then after i heard he got the 100 i waited about a week and he hadn't sent me my 100 back and wasn't responding to my PMs. i then opened a dispute with paypal and let him know that if he didn't give me the 100 back i would just let paypal know he got the UPS insurance money and then i would get my 125 back. next day the 100 payment was sent.

This was the worse experience i ever had but since i used paypal it wasn't too bad.

some people just don't give a shiet, I dealing with some guy here locally, he was supposed to primer one of my cars and install the bumpers, he took too long and I went and got the car, I had already given him half of the money, now he's hesitating to give it back to me, at times like this I wish I lived on the other side of the border, lol, things would be very different, I would just crush him, haha!! Good luck finding that guy, maybe his internet got disconnected or something.

i agree paypal with creditcard is the smartest choice. shouldn't 30 days be enough to file a claim? figure 10 days at most to receive item, 10 days to speak with seller, 10 days to file a claim.

how do you get "free" stuff? Product not as described and seller didn't want to pay to ship it back is the only thing i can think of, otherwise it doesn't sound right?

Surely the disputes you filed with your credit card company were well founded, right?

Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but it's almost as if you're bragging about all the "free" stuff you've received by filing disputes with you CC company. I've been screwed by a less than credible buyer who received a brand new set of Rota wheels for "free" at my expense (and it was not a small expense), so pardon me if I'm getting the wrong impression here.

Yes they were well founded disputes.

The first item was off ebay. I bought a clutch and flywheel that was supposed to be for a h22, but the the bolt holes on the flywheel were to small. And did not fit, and the ebay seller was not going to refund the money. I called up the credit card, and they gave me the money back, and I still have the clutch and flywheel. I took the flywheel to a machine shop for 40 bucks and they bored the holes out for it to fit.

The header was on back order for like 6 months and the company wouldnt respond to my messages, so the credit card company just took the money back, and than 3 weeks later, that same comapny refunded my money to my paypal account for the header, so I really didnt get a header, just an extra 400 bucks!

its actually 45 days.

using my credit card through paypal saved my ***. i payed a guy on here, user name "Redline Customs", $250 for some JDM headlights and never got them. he kept giving me excuses, he was in jail for 10 days, then he sent it to the wrong address, ect... but he kept in contact with me, unitll day 40 or so, then he wouldnt answer my phone calls, emails, or PMs. i was to late to file a claim with paypal(i did anyways, but it was too late to despute it). so i filed a claim with me credit card and got my $250 back.
dont ever purchase from "Redline Customs" his name on VAdriven is "integrarj".

good luck to you Prudz, hope it ends up working out.

i think i actually paid for the item on my credit card at the post office that i bought the money order from. Would it be possible to file a claim through visa and get my money back? Or do i actually have to have an online transaction? I don't see why they would not, a transaction is a transaction.

yeah, same difference. if your card says VISA or whatever on it you should still be able to dispute the purchase through visa or your bank.

It's a shame. Shady sellers like this make the rest of us look bad. Although I've never dealt with this member directly, this isn't the first time I've heard of ill-dealings with Shutta.

if you used your card, whether online or in person, you should be able to dispute the transaction.
now the only problem in your case is that you got what you paid for with your credit card. you used you card to get a money order, and you got the money order. so im not really sure how it would work out though.
