Can you get a picture of the setup? We could probably just look at it and tell you what's wrong.

What coilovers are they? If theyre not intended for this car that could be the issue. If there is a model # on them, go on the company's website and compare part #'s and see if they are for this prelude your putting them on.

And hawk. Don't be like the rest of the tool bags on this site. That's the kind of **** that makes me hate coming on here. Prelude ppl need to care for thier own.

I agree with you, but sometimes it's just like people don't even want to try. No pics, no info, nothing to help us help him. If they don't want to put in the effort, then IMO they shouldn't be messing with important suspension components.

Just because he's working on a Prelude doesn't mean he is one of our 'people' I don't care what kind of car someone has.....

OP maybe you can post up some pics, part descriptions, etc and we can help you?

the suspension setup you described sounded like every single coilover ever made...

they all have a collar, with adjustment rings, and a spring on a perch.

stop responding to all the negative **** and just post a picture. if you dont know how to post one then email me one and ill post it or tell you whats wrong if i can see the issue.

That's what mine look like too, but mine work fine. From that I can conclude:

A) Something else on your car is messed up
B) You're putting them on wrong

And it's obviously not the shocks bottoming out if you have 6 inches of tire gap....
