Can anybody tell me where the other end of this is wired to
I had my motor rebuilt and a turbo kit installed, and the vtec is not engaging properly, but I think this may be the culprit. Can anybody tell me what this is for, and also where the other end of the other socket comes from? For the life of me I could not find the other end lol

Wires from the solenoid just go into a larger bunch of wires, guessing the main harness. Looking through my helms the socket is either C429 or C139. If its c429 I think it was plugged into the stock airbox? can someone confirm please

is there anything plugged into the VTEC solenoid?
and does it go to the proper pin on the ECU for VTEC? i don't think YEL/BLK wires are for VTEC though

This is not for vtec for sure. the one to the left is the vtec (grn/yel) and it's plugged properly. This one seems to be a connector for the test tachometer.

You know, its a black/yel wire.
Off the top of my head I forget if BLK/YEL wires are negative or positive.
I know that BLK/YEL and YEL/BLK are predominatly power or ground wires.
If it is a ground wire, it should plug into the grounding part of Vtec solenoid.
If I was you, I would just re-wire the Vtec in.

looks like the connector to the OEM intake. when you take out the whole intake, the big resonator that's inside the RF of the bumper. if I'm not mistaken, it plugs into it.

I havent dealt much with 4g's but I just wired up a b18cr in my 3g and black with yellow was 12v+ and being the plug that it is, it might be a coil pack plug if the white is tach signal.
