I'm taking out the a/c and just wanted to make sure i can get rid of this. And Do i still need the fan that attaches to the radiator, the one on the right if you are looking at the car.

3 years and no drivers side fan. (south florida heat) ....never overheats. You dont need that fan.
Hell from what I have read you could run a civic radiator and not overheat, but I havent personaly tried that.

tons of people run civic half-size dual core radiators on h22's.........especially high powered FI cars, where the engine is much more prone to overheating, and still don't overheat.

Re: a/c removal (Hawkze_2.3)
I have one of those ebay civic dual core radiators sitting in my room. It was the cheap $40 made in China. I hear it's fine, but when I go turbo I'm wondering about it's capabilities.
Anyone have a thought? Hawkez?

If it was $40 I'd go ahead and put it in before you go turbo just to see if it holds up (and it very well may), and if all is good then keep it. I'm going to keep mine with my future turbo setup.
There's lots of high hp cars with little Civic rads....aluminum dual-core rads.

Nah - you misunderstood me. I'm against removing AC for people who think they will gain a lot of horsepower from it. When in fact, it won't help.
The reason i'm removing mine is weight reduction and I'm boosting, so it's just going to get in the way.
There was a thread a while back with people talking about gaining horsepower from removing AC - although it doesn't rob hp unless its actually on due to the compressor clutch. Thats what i'm against. A lot of FI cars have to remove AC though.

I think the fitting is on the inside of the firewall.
I just broke mine off...

I think you're talking about the line that goes to the core. If you take out the black box under your passenger side dash and remove the core inside, it removes the line sticking out of the firewall.
