TCustom exhaust. I'd go vibrant tri y header kteller 2.5" piping, high flow cat, vibrant ultra quiet resonator and vibrant street muffler. If your needing a cheap header DNA tri y is $200 but idk about quality but design is good. Ya just gotta notch cross member

Re: Best Full Exhaust Systems for bb6
Im not to familiar with the ko speed is it a 2piece like DC. Im considering getting a tri y header, high flow cat idk what brand yet probably magnaflow and srs catback. If I don't like the sound I'd add a vibrant ultra quiet resonator

Dont cheap out and buy just the tips if your building your entire exhaust go with the Vibrant Street Power Stealth muffler its flat black, at least that's what I am going with.

the KO speed is a DC knockoff, ebay brand basically. those ones that go for $50-100 shipped...and are usually no better than stock.

I thought about this one but I dont really want that wide muffler. Thats more of a hatch type muffler. I couldnt picture it ona Lude. When you get it on, let me see how it looks 😃

Re: Best Full Exhaust Systems for bb6
For a header, anything under $600 is going to be a knockoff of a company that actually did research.
The super cheap 60-150 ones are all DC copies basically, just stock style but tubing not cast.
The 150-300 mark will be either DC/ Megan etc which give you no performance gain, but look nicer for awhile.
300-600 will be the replica headers, which many actually flow ok, some have suspect welding, and they are generally ripping off the work of guys like Hytec, RMF, etc.
600-1100 this is Vibrant category, and they "may" doing a limited release of their header if the buy gets enough people.
1100+ you are now in custom header area, and the header will be designed for your specific setup, and WILL make power.
So far as exhaust, most people would be happy with a custom setup that has 2.25-2.5" tubing with mandrel bends and their choice of muffler, resonator, tips etc.
If you really want to spend money and make power, a full 3" system is better flow for the H. Then you have to ensure ground clearance is good, bends are done well, the muffling is acceptable yet free flowing etc.
So much of it comes down to finances and personal preference.
Instead of making new threads on all this little stuff, just read past threads and what other people have questioned or said, watch youtube vids of exhaust setups and such, and learn, instead of asking to be spoon-fed.

Re: Best Full Exhaust Systems for bb6
Megan Head? srs catback? Just save that little chunk of money plz dont act like megan is not cheap ebay brand ****. Do some more research and find a real exhaust. Megan is not the droid your looking for. If you have to scratch the itch for your BB6 . . . There is plenty of decent respectable power heads for $400, Go find them.

Re: Best Full Exhaust Systems for bb6
So other then a PLM or Vibrant header for around $400 bucks, just keep the stocker. I went PLM, proven dyno results at least. Not without my complaints, but im making it work fine.
Get a high flow cat, no strait pipe bs... cats cut raspyness, and act like another resonator.
Buy a big glasspack, i went for the 3"in/out Cherrybomb. Its over 30" inches long, and this will give you the low grumble, as well as the tip muffler. Rule of thumb. the bigger the better, or run more then one small one.
Dont skimp out and get a cheap muffler. I bought that black stealth one from Vibrant for mine.
make sure you get all the same diameter parts
For a full decent header back look to drop $700-$800 bucks said and done after install. Cat backs can be had for $300 or so and have the sound, but not so much the power.

Re: Best Full Exhaust Systems for bb6
Man I saw the DNA motoring tri y on sale some where for $215 and now can't find it. I think it was pro import tuning. To be honest I wasn't sure who made it and figured it was a cheap replica of a replica. I just looked on ebay and it sales for $378-400. Man I wish I would've got it.

Hmm, looks like when I give a decent amount of advice, it doesn't always have a good impact.
Hopefully Kashmillien finds a decent exhaust for his car.
I did leave his post up there as I have no reason to hide it, but if you are a dick to a mod that is trying to be helpfull, expect to get an infraction or ban.
