Am I the only one with a hood spoiler?
I think this item is hated mainly because Wings West made a copy of it back in the rice days, and it's more known as that than a JDM option.
Anyway, I always liked it, made the car look a little less plain, IMO. Plus the fact that everyone seems to hate them pretty much means there aren't tons around. $300 prices on ebay probably not helping either. Got mine last year with a hood for $250.
Anyone else have one?

Type-S Hood Bonnet if i'm not mistaken. I believe it was also available in the EDM market.
I know of a couple semi local guys that have them. Personally, I like them.

Where did I say rare? I said theyre on ebay. you just don't see people with them.
See this is what I want to know. Why is it 'rice'? Because of this:

No it's rice because you're putting a spoiler on a hood. How is that semi-attractive at all? Everyone is into their own thing, and I respect that, but that is just plain old stupid ugly. Not a positive thing can be said about a spoiler, on a hood.

kungfuSiR did an awesome job with a custom job he did.
This is more of a cowl rather than a spoiler, releasing hot air from radiator and oil cooler.
I would definitely recommend this setup to anyone.

And that scion time attack car is pretty crazy. Looks like ****, but function/form I guess.

maybe but i still think its dumb.. the same or more downforce could be applied to the front lip if done right. the corvette zr1's initial testing front lip actually had too much downforce and the front end would bounce off the ground in high speed cornering
