99 Lude type SH, What are some good ideas with this thing?
So I have a 99 Lude Type SH(I am glad I didn't buy the Civic HX 6 months ago), it has 81000 miles on it. I heard this beast was quite the monster with some mods. I know for a fact that it does have to close a raito on the tranny (4k at 135km/h). I would like to know where a good place to start is...and yes I know it has a H22A4. Please help thanks

The SH ATTS unit has clutches that slip at about 250hp, so you can't go much higher than that. Just start with basic bolt-ons to get the hang of things, even though they won't make much power. It takes a lot of work and boost to make it into a 'monster'.

There wouldn't be a workaround on the ECU to change the amount of power the ATTS can take? I am going for power and corning, well more or less street to dust a few ya know? And I know for fact that the tranny needs to from a base model as well, at the same time I do want the gears to slightly tall for top end purposes. So lose ATTS and get Limited slip then yes?

Re: (Happy Gilmore)
its kinda expensive, but its worth getting rid of the atts... if ur planning on forced induction, i would deff. ditch it.... next i would start taking weight out of it.... take out the back seat and look at all the crap that can be taken out, thats up under it..... theres so much weight in the back of a 5th gen its crazy... get rid of sound deading, take ur interior out, put dry ice on the sound deading and it will come out easy(around 40lbs of sound deading)... Its free power, i guess u could say.. power 2 weight...........SHs look good from the factory, IMO. work on engine, and getting it lighter...

No, like I said there are physical CLUTCHES inside the unit. It's not an ECU problem, the clutches slip.

You still need to get rid of the ATTS.
Here, check these out so you can better understand what's going on down there:
