Auto X have different classes you can particapate in. Putting a LSD in the prelude will pull you out of the stock class compatition. You can find out more information about that here at these websites. The last thread you can find in the Road Racing/Autocross on this website

I know that this was already brought up, but how could I go about keeping my 2000 SH all-motor without messing up the ATTS?

by keeping you HP under 250 at the wheels, you will have to invest some good $ to get those numbers out of a sh because the whole drive train robs you of power

As far as anyone knows, is there ANY way possible to bump the power handling of the SH system? I think a 300 whp SH would be fun. Give you some nice 70-?? acceleration and still have the ability to corner better then a base under most circumstances if equally modded in the suspension.

how low can you go on an SH? i just looked at a used SH with coilovers. will it do permanant damage on the ATTS system?

also, im thinking, and people prob have already done this, but perhaps removing the ATTS (i guess this would involve getting a base transmission), and getting an LSD?

You should probably read the entire thread before posting.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by FadedEpic &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">True story... every SH has a h22a4 and every base model has an H22a. even if you swap it, its still an H22... it just is JDM spec. Haha thats funny!

I have a real problem, I blew my SH motor and swapped the motor out for the base model block. Found out after I dropped in the motor that the half shaft is very diff and shorter. Im still using the SH tranny. If you guys know any website or info on how I can make it work Please email me at BandJ4@***.net or post some info for me. Any help would be appreciated. <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by ourru &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> ????</TD></TR></TABLE>

Lets see..

ATTS = useless weight
ATTS = NO LSD Compatability

SH = No, No.

Good thing I bought a Base on purpose.

SH = over rated. I said it.

Yeah, that extra handling really sucks, doesn't it?

ok one question... does that mean the ATTS is ruined? or just while you are at high speeds.

it just means that if you plan on doing any major mods, your atts will not be able to keep up, making it useless = useless added weight. its nice to have if you plan on staying within stock parameters

I got a question now hopefully someone can answer from experience.

Would a base model with a LSD installed be better for handling vs. a SH with it's ATTS?

depends on how you tune it. but if you do it right, yes; it can be much more "effective" IMO. a lot of it depends on what kind of money you are looking to spend. ...and as far as the whole H22A4 v. H22A goes. i own a '98 Base w/ a USDM H22A4, and no the SH's do not have different engines unless they are JDM. 5th gen Preludes (97-01) are H22A<U>4</U>'s.

Do all 5th gens have fuses in the under dash (driver side) fuse box for ATTS?
