5th gen....
So i have a few questions... it seems like alot of people talk about I/H/E or whatever... maybe thats for n00bs... but im sayin if you have an ultimate goal in mind like horsepower wise and know wether you want to go NA, Turbo, or Supercharged shouldnt you keep that in mind when buying performance parts? like if youre ultimate goal in mind is to turbo shouldnt you buy parts that would be compatible with this in the end? like for example if i wanted to get a full exhaust shouldnt i buy an exhaust manifold that will work with the turbo etc? i guess what im trying to say is arent you taking one step forward and two back if you dont just buy everything with your ultimate goal in mind and wait till you have everything you need and install it? cause it seems like purchasing parts and like an exhaust or something that wont work in the end is kinda like throwing money away and putting me further away from reaching my ultimate goal..

Thanks for sharing your thoughts
A turbo header/manifold and an NA manifold are very different, so no you should not get a new header if you want to bolt a turbo to it later. Same with all the other stuff. You might want to do some reading in the forced induction forum and the FAQs.
Might also want to make the thread title somewhat relevant to the content.

Re: 5th gen....
well i figured if i made the title vague more people would look at it and wonder hmm wtf is this? :-P but anyway i have read up on naturally aspirated, and forced induction.. and i never said i was going with forced induction i just used it as an example... the reason i asked these questions is because when i read up some things on the forum people are like start out with I/H/E blah blah well i was just curious why the hell someone would say that to people when if you have a goal in the end to turbo or something that these parts wouldnt eventually work... like idk i guess whatever i was just curious and yall are tryin to make me look like an idiot so screw it...
p.s. and i know you would have to use different intake manifold, exhaust manifold, different cams, intake for forced induction.. that was my point... it seems like alot of people are saying install a I/H/E and then go from there but if you wanted to turbo later some of that money you spent is wasted... right or wrong?
you guys take **** way outa context or just mistunderstand quit tryin to flame people... i thought there was no such thing as a stupid question... but i know there are such things as stupid answers... so whats good cause i know ... homeboy talking bout (i guess im a n00b 1.2.3.4 blah blah blah) that **** wasnt relavent to anyting.. so whatever
and basically my question is.. whats the best way to go? spend a bunch of money going through the stages of tuning and modifying your car.. or lay out a blueprint of what you want to do and have an ultimate goal in mind and start buying parts and put them all together when you have everything you need... although i know youre never done modifying or buying parts.. im just saying it seems like a waste of money to go through all that.. you know what im sayin or not?

Yes, we understand what you are saying. Of course a plan is better, but some people just like to play and learn by trying out different stuff. Everyone is different and there is no right or wrong way to do things.

Re: 5th gen....
The reason people get that I/H/E crap is because those people ask the stupidest questions...
How can I make my car go faster?
What do I do to make more power?
I want to make my car faster and more powerful, yet I don't want to spend any money because I'm a broke *** piece of **** and I'm a lazy fat****??
Those people who know what they plan on doing to their vehicle are surely not going to ask some plain *** question with no regards as to if they are going N/A or Forced Induction.
If you ask for our opinion, we are going to give you BS.
If you ask for more information after you have endlessly searched on this site, then we will help you as much as we can.
How can we help you if you can't even help yourself??

Yeah no **** it's called the search button. Try it.
For the people that have been on here a while, they'll know if the question was covered before and either link them to the original thread or just ignore their question.
P.S.
Stop Trolling.

I've seen enough posts of yours that are just plain ambiguous, like you're inviting people to post, just so you can say something negative.
You behave like a ****-ant.
