Can anyone confirm if a 98 base h22 transmission will bolt into a 93 h22?

I think it will, but before putting down the money, I want to get a second opinoin.

yes. The only 5thgen tranny that would not work would be an SH tranny. So yes you are correct

crap i just bought a complete h22a4 type sh swap to put in my 4th gen so your saying im screwed whats the reason it wont work?

It wont work because of the sh's atts unit.

It wont be a bolt in. But you could make it work. You would have to take off the ATTS unit and redo some wiring I believe. The motor will work fine but I am about 98% sure that the tranny will not bolt up with the ATTS unit on the tranny housing.
