IMO, The reflector is only for the lights that are hitting it from the oncoming cars headlights...Not reflecting the light OUT of the lens...

This is non sense argueing about the reflecting material. Like it or not, choose the one that fits you.

you are supposed to have amber light out of the front.....not nothing....

the reflector, in fact (not opinion) is there to not only reflect, it is to disperse the light....much like how the rear taillights work....

yes it does matter....because just putting a bulb in there, with no matter of light dispersion i.e. a reflector is going to give no light.....

USDM look better. Makes the car have more of a presence.

Also, I changed my corner light bulbs to yellow like yours. Makes the front of the car look nicer at night. I don't like the old dingy white light that comes from them, especially when the headlights are on.

If I wasn't going for JDM headlights, I would buy the aftermarket corner lights that are yellow.

Default Pix

as promised night pix. As I already said the reflectivity of the SAE reflector is better then the JDM one, but you can atleast still see the JDM one. I agree there is a lower vis. and also illegal by USDOT standards. Its legal by the Japs though. Thats good enough for me.

On the other hand with the signal on it is brighter then the USDM signal. So I'll have a better vis. when I'm actually turning. Not that it matters much w/ the HL's on.

I'll put some Diamond Grade reflective tape all over the side if any of you hoes call the cops on me.

It's funny now that the topic it's up, I just realized about the reflectors on the usdm compare to the non reflector jdm. I just bought me a pair of amber usdm because my clear oem where foggy as hell a very chipped. I can care less about the reflector I rather keep that than drill holes on jdm ones to get side light. Anyways I bet if the reflectors were on the jdm ones people would go for them instead that how we humans are .

i dont really care too much for the jdm ones. now that i see them on the car they look like cheap altezzas painted amber. for the same reason i dont like when people do this with the gay altezza tails. even after u paint it u can still tell it was an altezza.
