WSBK: monza
-no spoiler, but if you missed it.....you missed a GREAT race 1.
-the opening lap crash.
-spies holding off both fabrizio and haga, on one fricken' wheel. the front.
-fabrizio waving to spies as he passes.
-spies at last corner?
-both races are well over and currently airing on speed on delay.....
-race 2 is now.

Re: WSBK: monza
If Haga wins the championship he should send Spies/Yamaha a thank you card. lol
Wonder what heppened to Haga in the second race, in both instances?

Haga hit a bird in race 2, lacerated muscle in his arm and couldn't brake for parabolica. Spies ran out of gas in race 1. Real shame, he rode really well in that race.
As for the crash in race 1, RJ got a great shot of it, I'll have to have him upload it when he gets back to the states.
I got interviews with Ron Ten Kate and Eugene Laverty at Monza. My interview with Johnny Rea at Assen is up here: http://www.vtec.net/news/news-item?news_item_id=831498
I'll probably put up the Ron interview (at least part 1) in a week or so. It's been cool doing Euro events but it's waayyyy different and it took a lot of energy out of me. I'll probably be back to Euroland soon enough though.

Re: WSBK: monza
I finally had a chance to watch the Monza races this weekend and have to say that it was the most exciting racing I've seen in this season. I hope Nori gets well and can't wait for the South Afrika round.
