Me neither. I really want to see how him and Spies are going to get along next year.
Anyone think that Honda will finally get their **** together next year? Now that they have Stoner and what not...

The 3 headed monster is going to be good next year. They are finding speed now...and talks about another team replacing Interwitten is in the works. I'm hoping Aoyama moving to Gresini finds him higher in the grid. G'damn Simoncelli carrying that **** over from 250's. >=|

-I just watched the moto2 race from Australia, absolutely impressed with Alex DeAngelis' showing starting from pole and winning the race. Both he and Scott Reading, who finished 2nd, dedicated their victories to Shoya Tomizawa. Great race, always one of my favorite riders in motoGP recent seasons' past.

i think its pretty safe to say jorge is the next rossi, hes still young and about to win his first gp title. some people might say it would be a different story if rossi hadnt of gotten hurt, but i beg the differ, he might not have been winning by a land slide but he would definitely still be in first. im a huge spies fan but as long as jorge (and pedrosa of course) are out there he will never dominate.

^ eff pedrosa, im tired of puig's shenanigans to guide honda to make it a pedrosa bike.. even from the start of the season when the hondas weren't even competitive, you saw them building a "pedrosa" chassis... i feel bad for him, braking the collar bone due to stuck throttle and everything, but i feel like the politics behind him have been just dragging honda so that they can't focus and build a bike that works for all, not just pedrosa.

Don't think so.
Next year he may still have some advantage as the M1 is basically the best bike on the grid. Come 2012 and the changes in regulations, it will be his time to show that he can develop a bike, not counting with Vale and JB doing all the work for him.
He came into GP and landed in the top team...Vale did so in Honda, but then he went to Yammy (which was the a backmarker team) and turned it into the best team today in MotoGP...let's see if Lorencita can do that.
Oh, and Rossi is charismatic and authentic. Lorenzo, like most spaniards, is a complete douche. Just look at his Rossiesque celebrations, the guy tries way too ****ing hard and fails completely.

Re: Where is the 2010 MotoGP thread?
i see a lot of similarites between jorge and the way rossi was when he first entered motogp. tell me that time jorge pulled the chair out in the middle of the track, sat down, and started watching the replays doesnt remind you of something rossi would do. rossi has been around a lot longer than jorge so of course he'll "seem" a little more modest, but deep down he knows hes the ****, as does jorge, he just doesnt want to hide it like rossi because hes younger. rossi isnt gonna be around too much longer and i think the only person that even has the slighest chance to halfway fill his shoes is jorge.
He's no Rossi. He is fast and on the best bike. Would like to see him working his way through a satellite Ducati.

Just because Jarno Saarinen started sticking his leg out doesn't make everyone else who does it an "emulator". It just makes the sport better.

Yes it's true that Rossi started the after-race celebrations, but it doesn't mean that Jorge is being copycat. I believe it helps the sport by making it more entertaining.

To me Lorenzo will never become the next rossi, I'm not a rossi fan, but its always nice to see him win, his attitude is top notch, and being the GOAT he is very humble. I've always hated Lorenzo, and after his little show when he won the tittle it got even worse, a huge part about being good at a sport is good sportmanship and lorenzo has never shown any.
I doubt he has the talent that Rossi has, like leo said, lets just wait until ha actually has to develop the bike to see if he can or not.

I think that his celebrations are a bit over the top, and so are rossi's for that matter. I mean this a sport, and these guys are payed to go out and win races, it's why i like Stoner for that matter, just no BS.. just goes out and races and when asked, says whatever is on his mind.
That being said, I'm really looking forward to next season :D

Re: Where is the 2010 MotoGP thread?
One thing we do know is that Jorge is fast on a fast bike, and very consistent.
Any word on RDP's next team? He's been getting faster each year (beating factory teams at times) - still a little crash prone, but he's definitely shown speed this year.

Re: Where is the 2010 MotoGP thread?
I've had TERRIBLE experiences with those POS cars. Not even italians buy them. Only the poor ones do.
RDP seems like he's headed to Ducati Pramac:

I do wish he has a good ride. He is a great rider, he was really riding the wheels off that LCR Honda this year until he had that injury.

i want to see what stoner can do on a honda... i'm also curious to see if mschu's boyfriend (pedrobot) will still be the #1 rider for repsol.
and if spies can live up to his hype.
and if rossi can make the ducati work for him.
and if elias will start sucking now that he's back in motogp.
