/26 is not a big fan of unsafe motorcycle practices as it reflects on all riders. If you spent any time on this subsection of Honda-tech it would be obvious. But, now you know.

because a dumb wheelie doesn't impress us we're off base?

Doing a wheelie is just the lamest example of riding skill there is. yet time and again we're subjected to this as if we are looking upon the face of god himself... if so, I am turning atheist

I know... it's my bad. I should learn that all they are doing is having fun. Can't say I haven't done my share of wheelies... I don't think I have ever had the need to post one on the web

what the hell is the fun of a long wheelie anyway??? it is way more exciting to come out of a corner with the front up under power, only to be hard on the brakes with the rear skipping along the road a few seconds later...

OP... if you want to see a real pioneer in the wheelie relm... look up Doug Domokos.

Dude was riding 15-20 mile long wheelies in the late 1970's early 1980's.

Dude was riding 15-20 mile long wheelies in the late 1970's early 1980's.
"One of Doug's most notable accomplishments was setting the world record for the longest wheelie in 1984 going an amazing 145 miles. For ten years Doug's long distance wheelie record was published in The Guinness Book of World Records, where he had a two page spread. In 1992 a Japanese trials bike rider broke the record going 206 miles."
