Well, Since herb got a new bike...
Well, after being out of the saddle for nearly 20 years, I am finally back in the saddle. I just purchased this *** kicker...
you know, to help kick my ***.

Nice chicken strips
Weather is warming up here... and I'm slowly getting back up to speed with my roadie, and my fixed gear 'project' should be on the road soon too.

I didn't know Greg could weld and roll composites these days. He's come a long way since winning the TDF

It's okay... I don't have any feet
Peddles were not part of my bargain with this seller, oh well.

gorgeous ledmond schu.
and crzma22, that fixie makes me happy in my boxer area. I made a $5 fixie when i was at school and now it just hangs out in the garage. I did pick up a nice single speed MTB this summer that i've been enjoying, but i really need to get out and ride more.
Nice bikes everyone.

Strange timing...I rode my friend's bicycle the other day after being off of the saddle for a couple of years myself. Rode up hill his street was on, then came down with some good momentum...
....grabbed a handful of 'Clutch' as i pulled into his driveway and nearly endo'ed the thing -____-
any plans to upgrade to the SS lines?

SS lines are standard
I do reroute the cables for motorcyle layout, a practice that always used to get me laughed at when I was racing (bicycles)...
"look at that dudes cables, there backwards".
But as soon as I explained it to them they seemed to get it.

My racing days are probably over... maybe a club level race foray if I get back to any kind of condition, about 2-3 years just as a base
I really loved Criterion and Road Racing, it was great.

LOL yeah that was just a joke on the other group ride threads. You know how we do.... no one from H-T came on our last group ride thread because we were on the 6am roll call....
Good to see some other riders on quality equipment!

Re: Well, Since herb got a new bike... (Matty.)
I still roll my old rusty high school 10speed, no fancy bike here. Those pics got me thinking about picking one up tho... I just bought some of those ugly clip in shoes and a thudbuster st for my butt. Going to see if that gets me riding farther.

Very cool... just get riding, It doesn't matter what you ride.
Its gonna help you out in your scooter riding to.
That Lemond wasn't was expensive as all hell, just over 1k with a little scouting around and diligent shopping technique. Not bad seeing as a good bike these days will set you back at least $4-5K. I want something that I don't feel to bad trashing as riding/milage kills the resiliency in frames the way it does in motorcycles frames

Ten forward gears... The DA was a main reason for getting this particular set up... new she would have cost close to 3k
