sometimes you just wonder, WHY????????????????????????
http://www.bayarearidersforum....57312
had summer school at ucsc this morning. f@!#ing HORRIBLE. Rode over to we all ride to grab a chain and breaker. (nice online store if you dont live in santa cruz)
Rode out to SIMS metal san jose to grab my scrap. The swing arm is 1 3/16" x 2 3/16". Good luck finding that. Luckily 1x2 square tubing plugs right in. Even luckier, 2x1/2 square tubing plugs in side by side for increased structual integrity....
SIMS makes you buy 14lbs or 10 bucks worth. I got a little something something to tip the scale as well as heighten home security...
My arrival home...
look what some douche bag thought would be a good solution to him being a dumb a$$ and obviously loosing the end cap. these ninjas get around...
Break the chain
you may run into a problem or 2...
higher amperage = higher probability of success.
still holds true...
hmmm...

THE POINT OF NO RETURN. I try not to think about it, and **** usually flows steadily. If youre a dumb a$$ and manage to frak up your only swing arm, theres a few on ebay. Make sure you take ground shipping so you have adaquate time to think about how much of a dumb a$$ you are. After 5 days, you may never find yourself in that situation again.
Some body took my vice grips! This probably worked better any ways...
drill your plug holes. weld holes... what ever theyre called, you need them.
looking good...
cut your square tubing. You need about an inch and a half- 2 inches on each end in addition to what youre stretching.
figuring it out as we go. just have some confidence... you can be just like me!
I wasnt actually hammering in this picture...
time to party
Fill the hole... like you were a linebacker, or ron jeremy...

Get your **** straight. Theres no turning back. Level surface, reliable level, and a vice to hold it in place. I can confidently say, i got pretty damn lucky with my approxmations.
grind down your welds, fill the crevases, grind again.
step 90
degrease and paint. let the paint dry if you have time.
break your chain if you have too. My oversized chain barely fit, or fit perfectly...
finished.
youre going to want to hack that rear fender off completely. I bent my plate up so only the plastic was grinding on the ride back over 17... and get on that rear brake line as soon as you have the money...
