I've been looking into the Sidi Cayenne or Scorpion's for everyday riding when I don't want to wear my race boots. Give them a look </TD></TR></TABLE>
is this the same sidi that makes cycling footwear ?

probably the same Sidi, i think all they make is footwear.
Anyone know what my best bet would be for something that has good protection but is very comfortable (sp?) for walking around all day? i work at home depot and am walking, climbing, carrying, pushing, and jumping up and down for customers all day long. and when im not at work, im walking around the huge University of Florida campus... so i need something VERY cumfy (ohh and i cant bring an extra pair, dont have room in my backpack for anything else

Is it possible to maybe talk to a manager and leave a pair at work, maybe in a descret bag, and even lock it up to something in the employee area?

Re: (answerx)
yeah, no ankle protection, which is my main concern. I can keep a pair at work, but not on campus, and i still do plenty of walking there... and would rather just have a pair of boots i can wear everywere.

i have a pear of icons i cant remember what they are called. starts with a "K" i think but anyway they are the low cut version. those things aren't coming off unless you foot in going with it. i dont hardly ever use them because like ALL SHOES, they offer nothing to protect you ankle from bending. i already have a bad ankle, id like to spend the rest of my like out of a wheel chair.

SMX plus FTW. like someone else said, just bring another pair of shoes to wear around school/work.
I've been thinking about this also about how to lug boots around at school/work. Do you guys think that one of those rollerbladers backback would work for riding around. The only downside is that its not magnetic and you would have to wear it while riding.
