Lawrence eh? Thats a 15 minute trip from my house; I go down there all the time to visit a friend. Easiest case scenario; it's probably wires being cut and maybe your tilt sensor...

Lawrence, MA is probably a little further than 15 minutes from your house. Its North of Boston.

Re: second day riding my bike need help starting (EKology)
i am guessing the bike fell over, so it could be your tip over sensor that wont let it restart. i dont know much about CBR's but it should be under your seat, but again not positive: look at a manual, it should be in there or call a honda dealership and ask where the sensor is. good luck

$3500? That's it? Did they check it out correctly?
If the forks have sustained damage, usually the insurance will salvage/total the bike (Apoc can correct me on this). For mine, that's what they did.
Chrome rims? Ugh. But, if that's what tickles your pickle...

:word: u cant tell a bent frame or fork by merely lookin at it, it might not be very easy to see...... and then ur title will be a rebuilt or salvage title..... that makes sellin a bike difficult..... just food for thought..... let insurance pay for a new bike....

2nd day riding your 600 eh
you take a msf class yet? i'd take that insurance money and invest in it if you haven't
you may also want to reconnect and cover your ram air tubes, check your front forks, and make sure your front brakes still work

There is no point on reconnecting the ram air ducts on his bike; they attach to his upper which isn't really there anymore. Just tape off the inlets where the tubes enter.
As for the MSF, well you are a big boy now and can make the right decisions. I hope. You go riding with anyone else in Lawrence? I have a couple friends down there with bikes: Nito, Augusto & Ace...
