PSJB_Interceptor build thread
I met a customer while doing PC installs and became good friends with him.
At some point he goes "I'm going to buy a new bike and when I do I'll need this one out of my garage so you can have it"
.. "yeah, ok bud"
A few years later, he gets a new job, buys his new bike and makes good on his promise and I tow a 2002 VFR800 from OH -> PA
Had a imploded tank from a pinched vacuum line among a few other issues and I got to work.
Steel brake lines + a new tank + rebuilt forks
And because its a VFR I had electrical issues
Some ignorant woman ran me off the road one year too so 1 side is all scuffed and now full of stickers to cover it up (adds character)

Re: PSJB_Interceptor build thread
I used to have an '04 VFR. Someone makes what they call a "vfrness" it replaces the stock wiring harness. Look into that if you haven't already. I had my '04 for 6 years and never had an issue with it.

Re: PSJB_Interceptor build thread
So... something fired (big surprise) and I had to rebuild the bike all over again.
Unmodified main harness
Replacement dash cluster
New "vfr-ness"
New stator
Pair valve delete w/ block off plates
Annoying, but the bike is too awesome not to fix and is back on the road with 20k less miles (on the clock ) and electrical is finally done right*
Planning on getting my seat redone, gonna try that route before buying a new one.
