the photo of lorenzo on the main page of motogp.com is wild. He is literally just flying through the air upside down.

I thought it was a decent race. At the end of the day prototype racing is usually not going to be as close as production based racing. The difference in the performance of the bikes is going to be greater in prototype racing than in production-based racing. On top of that, Moto GP had a big rules change just 1 season ago so it will take awhile for parity to return to the grid. We're already seeing things start to be more balanced this season as we've had 4 different winners in 4 races.

I can't believe Jorge Lorenzo even qualified let alone start and finish the race in 4th! Either that kid don't know wut pain means or he's got some really good meds.

I thought it was pretty exciting. I was waiting so long to see how much the engines have changed for the pneumatic late comers vs the ducs. I guess quite a bit haven't they? No more significant top speed advantage. Too bad the Hondas were still spring valves. I think R2D2 would've taken it if he was on pneumatics. His setup seemed to be spot on.

O yeah and if you read this before watching gp qualifying check out hoppers standup when everyone was waiting at the last corner for a clear shot at the last lap; It was pretty sick and made everyone look like idiots.

Too bad he is in 9th

Pole position: Colin Edwards USA Fiat Yamaha (M) 1min 33.616secs
Fastest lap: John Hopkins USA Rizla Suzuki (B) 1min 38.678secs (wet)

If it stays dry I think Pedrosa will take the win with Rossi 2nd, Stoner 3rd. If it rains Vermeulen will have a good chance of winning or at least podium. He is looking strong in the dry also. Nicky is in a bad way right now. Yes he qualified in 6th but his race pace is off by a bit. He will have to get some good results for the rest of the season if he plans to keep his ride next year. It's looking like Dovi will be along side Dani next year at Repsol. It's Dani's year this year I think either him or Rossi will take the championship.
