New to the bike world just pick up my first bike!
I have wanted to buy a bike for the longest and finally am able to afford one, got it this past Saterday night a 2008 CBR600RR!
This is my first bike, but I have experience riding my dads harley and my buddys gsx-r. I'm defently going to be taking it easy on the bike for a while and taking my MSF course this weekend

I have over 40k riding miles in all weather and road conditions, and my 2007 is a lot of bike for ME!
Good luck to you OP. Make damn sure you are geared up every ride, and have full-coverage and medical insurance.

Oh, as an aside: Take it easy in the snow. Dunlop Qualifiers + snows = one scary *** ride. It wasn't supposed to snow that day, but I got caught in a little flurry... stupid Sierra Nevadas.

Re: New to the bike world just pick up my first bike! (Blindstuff)
nice bike, take it easy on your 600... it's not about the riding that makes it difficult it's about the situations you're put in that makes riding a race replica difficult. anyone can "ride" a 600, but "reacting" on a 600 when **** hits the fan a whole different ball game. keep it sunny side up, ride saf and you'll be fine.
