Le Mans MotoGP Results
Highlight Video:
http://motogp.tiscali.com/ppv_...9.wmv
Notice at about 1:45 in that video Rossi looks off track and takes his clutch hand off the bike. He then procedes to run way wide and cost himself a podium finish. Anyone have any idea what the hell was he doing?

Good race. No idea what Vale was thinking, but I guess even the best have brain-farts...?
What happened with Hodgson, Abe, and Hopkins?? Did they ever explain? It seemed like Abe and Hopkins were pretty pissed...

Hodgson breaks two ribs in France crash
News, 16/05/04
Neil Hodgson remains stuck on zero points after three rounds of the MotoGP World Championship and this weekend heads home with the added pain of two broken ribs after crashing out of the Grand Prix Polini de France. The World Superbike Champion is finding life tough in the premier-class of motorcycle racing but insisted he would be back when the series returns in three weeks time at Mugello.
“It was two corners from the end of the first lap and I felt the front end start to slide,” explained the British rider. “I went down in instalments and Hopkins and Abe came with me.
“I think one of the bikes hit me and broke my two ribs, as well as cutting my arm, which needed a couple of stitches. It is painful but I’m okay and I’ll just try and relax over the next couple of weeks to get fit for Mugello.”
Team Manager Luis D’Antin admitted it had been a frustrating start to the season for his team, even though they picked up their first points of the season through Ruben Xaus, but expressed his faith in his riders.
“Neil will need a bit of time to recover but luckily it’s not such a bad injury. We’re having a tough time at the start of this season and it’s frustrating because in the team we know the potential our riders have and we want them to be able to show it.,” commented the Spaniard.
I have watched the crash a few times but it's a real shitty angle and you can't really see him go down. He did get hit by one of the bikes that was flipping end over end though

Yeah! Real men throw headbutts. And dropkicks. Would there be any fines levied against Hopkins for this small show of aggression?
