Exactly.

I wanted something other than the typical sportbike, something not everyone and their mom has.

that's fine by me, but i buy my bike because of the way it rides, the way it performs, the way it looks, and not because of my friend has one or to be different. But your reason is a valid one.

In defense of Sup Boy, the Monster is way more fun to ride than the F4i.

Does the Monster Dark have a different CR than the regular 620? I hadn't heard that.

no they're the same. I thought yours was 03 monster 800 dark not a 620. though even the 620 has a lower comp ratio in 03 then the 02.

Would you put 87 or 89 in a 620ie?</TD></TR></TABLE>

I'm as sure as you can be since it's what I put in the tank on my bikes.

The ONLY time I bother to run 91 octane is at track days; otherwise, it's rat ****.

To quote Bruce Meyers of BCM Ducati, "I'd run 'em on rat **** if I could."

Haha, I wish I had an 800, that would be cool.

Thanks for the help, bb6h22a. I will give 87 a shot.

I'm with Ross, the Monster is SO fun to ride.

&lt;--- doesnt need an assload of power and pretty fairings to have fun.

&lt;--- also likes having a more comfortable seat
