For 2008, Triumph is offering a Special Edition version of the awesome Daytona 675. This model features a sultry Phantom Black paint scheme offset stunningly by gold finished wheels and gold colored decals. Completing the picture for a sleek overall look are black engine covers.

Friend's buddy has one. Said it was pretty disappointing compared to a gsxr750 or even gsxr600. I'm not referring to power either, just the handling and feedback it gives. Said it was real awkward. They are sexay though

I was gonna try and make a clone of that bike when I had my Raven R1 last summer but the cheapest i could find those wheels anywhere was like 2700 bucks. Marshecini I think theyre called. Damn nice wheels.

no way. looks wise, perhaps, but the 675 is way more fun than the r1.

as far as awkward handling, no way. the thing is a scalpel. turn in on the bike is without par. some say the front end is vague, but i never experienced it. i will say that the rear shock is a bit of a sledgehammer, but its nothin ohlins, penske or elka can't fix.
