Default FS: Arai Quantum-f, Edwards Replica, Large (2003)

I'm looking at getting another Arai (really like the Quantum 2 in Stellar Red) that goes better with my mesh armor, so I would like to sell the one I have now. I rate it 8.5/10 on the exterior and 9/10 on the interior. It has a few knicks from rocks and large prehistoric bugs, but is in good shape. It is the first helmet I have ever had that I haven't had fallen off the bike or dropped on the ground.

It is sized "Large" (7 1/4" to 7 3/8"). My hat size is 7 1/4" and it fits me well. I think I have an Arai shaped head. It fits way better than my Large Shoei RF700.

I am totally content with keeping it, but I want something in red. Looking to get $225 shipped.

Any idea if the "Large" shell size is the same as the "XL" shell size?

I haven't a clue. I can guess that the XL size is for people with 7 3/8" to 7 1/2" heads.

Oh, I still like it. I just want to better color coordinate with my mesh armor and my next bike which will probably be a Raven R1 (at the moment ) I'm looking at doing the black/red color scheme.

It's hard to get that much for any used helmet over the net. Not to bust your sale, but it's important for people to know helmets such as these are only designed to sustain ONE impact. Even if you drop it a few feet onto the ground, it could render it unsafe to use. If they trust that you didn't drop it, then go for it and 225 is a sweet deal, but they may be trusting you with their life, just want them to know it for future reference. It would be a great buy for a second helmet, I have a pos shoei I got with my bike that I let broads wear when they ride. That's after I tell them they may die and if they fall off it's not my fault.

eh, I don't really care if I sell it or not. If I do sell it I'm getting the Quantum 2 in Stellar Red. If I don't sell it, I'll just continue to use it.
