FS: 2005 R6 Raven (Minnesota)
2005 Yamaha R6 Raven
3400 Miles
I originally listed it with 4300 miles...because apparantly im retarded. It has 3400 Miles.
Graves Delrin Frame Sliders and Clutch Slider
Graves Carbon Fiber Tank Pad
This bike is damn near brand new. Never been down or abused. No Blemishes, no mechanical oddities.
Getting divorced, have to sell. Its in my ex wifes name, so it really doesnt concern me much, but have agreed to help her sell it.
The bike is located in Alexandria MN 56308 which is 2 hours West of Minneapolis.
I wont ship this bike.
$7200 /obo

Yeah thats true...but it really hits hard at the heart having to sell it...especially this time of the year. Im in MN, so its been sitting in my heated garage for the past 6-7 months, and ive been dreaming of riding it. Ive been out a few times this season...and im gonna miss this thing hardcore.
Ive got one year of college left, and then im sure ill be able to pick up another. 25 years old, in college, full time job, and working on a family owned resort kinda takes alot of my time anyway.
Thanks for the comments. I am handling all of this, but if you make an offer, i need time to contact the ex to see if she accepts.

Yeah, thats me...and yeah, thats what happened. Ive been married for around 7 years on and off. I have my morals, my standards, etc...but im still a man!...
We have been going through a divorce for a few months now. Its not a quickprocess believe me. Ive learned alot about marriage, married women (mine, and not mine), and have a good grasp on how most of this usually works.
It may not be your path in life, but no body is telling you it should be.

Dang married when you were 18?
At least after 7 years of marriage you still have a whole life ahead of you. A lot better than getting back into the single game when you're 30 or 35.

Sadly, yes. But your bike's definitely 'worth' at least what you're asking for it. Probably more like $7500.
Problem is, not a lot of people can afford to drop $7K + on a used bike. Dropping that kind of coin is a lot harder than financing a $9500 bike. Sucks.

That's how I've been seeing things in our area (DC). Kids can push about 5, maybe 6g's for a bike. If they have to spend 7g's, they'll try to just finance a new one.
Another thing you have playing against you is the fact that they redesigned the R6...I'm thinking if a kid has to dish out 7g's, why not get the new gen.
But...I still love your bike. Seriously, it's sexy all to hell.

x2. You can get a 2006 R6-S that looks like that, but it doesn't have the cool stuff that came on the 05 models.
Like everyone has said...beautiful bike.
