That f'ing sux! I dislocated my right shoulder playing football back in high school.. Never been the same since. I'd be chillin and all of a sudden, my arm would just drop out of its socket and it'd hurt like a ****! Or sometimes, I'd try to throw a ball or something and it'd dislocate again. Fack! I couldn't stand it. It got better over time but I still can't throw like I used to. I'd say a good year before you get full strength in that arm. But don't know how long before it's tendons are healed.

The longer your shoulder is out of socket, the more the soft tissues tighten up, and the harder and more painful it is to put back in. This article shows a method to self reduce a dislocated shoulder, so you can quickly get it back into socket.

You'll heal up quick, no worries. I separated my shoulder exactly 1 month ago (yesterdya) and I'm feeling just fine now. It was a stage 2 separation and I was 1mm away from having to have surgery.
I thought it would be fun to slide on an icey parking lot to my car. I leaned back expecting a dry patch, but there was none Lesson learned: Don't lean back as far hahahaha
EDIT: Nevermind, I didn't see your last post. Sorry to hear about it happening again. You can always working on the bike and add a bunch of parts now

Re: expletive me :( (Dunc)
rotator cuff surgery? get ready for limited movement and a shoulder that will never be the same. Start using the shoulder press machine, i know its weak but anytime I get above 45's on shoulder press my bad one goes all screwy.
<--- 2 rotator cuff tears, 1 surgery, and a still jacked shoulder 5 years later

Rotator cuff is fine actually but yea im aware the shoulder will probably not ever be the same. I have been using the machine it came out the 2nd time just brushing snow off my car, i really did a number on it.
