cbr 929 engine tic
my 929 has a tic that is present at idle all the way through the powerband and increases in speed as the rpms increase. My two guesses are a cct problem like the f4/f4i has or a valve adjustment. any input would be appriciated.

Re: cbr 929 engine tic (razor ron)
i bought it with 21k on it. used to be this guys track bike, and said to be well maintained. which i don't think he would go cheap on the maintence considering he had his forks done traxxion dynamics, full akro titanium sytem, ram air ducts, air filter, pc3, real carbon fiber hugger. all kinds of epensive ****. so i would think that it was done on time, but i don't have the records. anyone know when the valve adjustment was supposed to happen?
edit... 16k is when valve adjustment is schedualed. i wonder if it was missed or if i'm just hearing ****. honda bikes can be noisy from time to time

Thats the 1st thing i Always do! lol. Bikes are just like cars... when the oil gets low on a car w/ a little milage you can hear the valves start to tick... hince... your bikes ticking. Or you could just be due for an adjustment. I say take it to your local shop if your really that worried about it and talk to them about it. Just my .02
