Hard to believe with the whole economic situation that either team could/would whip up extra superbikes for one weekend for a grudge match. Maybe if both guys were willing to put up some money, but I doubt that. If I was bayliss I would pass and I doub yamaha would really be willing to let Rossi do an extra race.

I love Rossi, but i think bayliss would win. But this wont happens unless both teams are willing to put a 3rd bike on the grid. which im not even sure will be allowed. also non of those riders are gonna give up their ride for a race, considering both teams are probably going to have championship thoughts

Wouldn't Rossi naturally have the advantage being that Bayliss is retired and probably not riding much while Rossi has been putting in the practice laps. Wait until the guy retires to challenge him to a duel?

It slightly depends on how much riding Bayliss and Rossi have each done over the last month or so. As good as Bayliss is, Rossi is still the GOAT.

I know rider ability has a lot do with it, but isn't this typically a Duc dominated track. Some stats.

Race 1

Bayliss - Duc

Biaggi - Duc

Corser - Yam

Xaus – Duc

Race 2

Nieto – Suzuki

Xaus – Duc

Biaggi – Duc

Bayliss – Duc

Fabrizio – Duc

Lanzi – Duc

Corser – Yam
