anyone ever tow a bike on their dropped car?
so the nearest track is 500miles north of where i live and i really don't feel like 'riding' that far. i may get there quicker but i'll be a lot crankier..
all i have is my rsx and no one i know has or wants to loan me their suv/truck. i've been looking around at trailers and found one that fits a single motorcyle and weighs 220lbs + my bike(400lbs)so roughly over 600lbs.
towing is no problem but my car's wheels are just flush with the fenders on coilovers and i'm worried that once i hitch all that weight in the back its going to either blow the shocks or bottom out the back. i'm wondering if anyone here has ever trailered anything on their slammed rsx. worst situation would be for me to re-install the stock suspension and get a new alignment, then re-install the coilovers when the season is over.

if you have coilovers why not just raise it up as far as the coilovers will go then put three dudes in the back seat that weigh about 200lbs a peice to see if it will work that way first...just a suggestion...

99 Civic Si + KYB AGX's + Ground Control OTS rates + Single axle trailer and F2 = No problem. It even cleared my at the time Mugen twinloop and JDM ITR 23mm rear bar.
No my car wasn't "slammed". Maybe 1.5" below stock.
Go for it.

The best thing about having that Civic up there is when he needs to change the oil.
With regards to towing, it can be done with virtually any vehicle. But, I've found it much easier to borrow a friend's truck (or rent one) to haul my bike around. My trailer, though, functional, is a pig to deal with. And, not to condone speeding, but 55 on the highway sucks.

Just look for a cheap running truck. I mean you live in Alaska anyways, it'll come in handy.
