If I was considering a new 600 then I would take the CBR > *. Multiple articles say that its more akin to a 750 with the increased grunt and lost weight.
...though I would never base my final decision of just one write-up.

All black or black/ red?
The white/ black combo has grown on me. It's funny because up until recently I've hated both CBR's and white bikes......not sure what the fug happened but bikes with less weight and more power are teh fun! :shrugs:

Not true; disregard the % and read the whole review. Per the testers it did damn good! They said if the new kawi came out last year then it would have claimed king. It's a new configuration and I think they are on the right track. Give em another model year to be sure.

In a few Minutes you can make the same US spec ZX6-R put down 7-10 more whp!
They are using are retarded exhaust design that makes it US spec legal for noise regulations!
If this test had a Euro Spec model the test would be A LOT different!
I sure will miss the 636 though!

Re: (rainmanEK)
if you did that to 1 bike, you'd have to compare all bikes from euro spec models which will make more power. It's a bullshit claim to say oh remove the emissions **** on this bike and it'll make more. No **** really but that wouldn't be stock anymore would it?

He has a point, on the new zixxer you can just jump two wires together that will give you a higher redline and anywhere from 4-7 whp. But I do agree that all bikes should be tested right off the showroom.

Great to see the new CBR do so well. Keep in mind though, that ANY of the current 600 supersports will be an awesome ride, on the track or the street. The gap in the competition is so narrow, it really comes down to what looks good, what's comfortable to YOU, and what brand preference (if any) that you have.
That being said, I love my new '07 600RR
