Again, why do you put this much effort in caring what other people do. Live and let live.

They are responding because you can't get over yourself.

You are asking why people are jumping on this bandwagon

Why? Because it is in fact a bandwagon, thats what people do, jump on them

The same thing happened with the scions

100 whp? Did it achieve 10% driveline loss -- b/c it's only putting down 109 bhp!

But that was in an era where there were 220 hp Ferraris and Porsches! And even then the stregth of the CRX was based on it's size/weight -- which is inappliable to the Fit.

Fixed that for you, fanboi.

What I don't get is $17,000 for the thing! That's Mazda 3 territory which gets relatively worse mileage but is better at everything else.

nowhere but that post sounded like you meant like we all want/are getting/have one or something. I'm not defending the Fit b/c it looks stupid IMO, but if people want to buy them, I could care less, let them go nuts

If I were to buy a new car right now, the Fit would be pretty high on the list.

by the time you add the OEM lip kit, other options and financing...it'll cost at least 17k.

oem lip kit is not a necessity. I'm going on the site and building a resonable one and I'll tell you how much. I won't go crazy with every feature but I also won't make it a moving shell

edit:

My 2007
Fit Manual Transmission

Base MSRP*: $13,850

Destination & Handling: $550

MSRP including selected accessories: $15,664

Selected Accessories (installation costs not included):

EXTERIOR [Edit]

Fog Lights $329

16" Alloy Wheel $836

INTERIOR [Edit]

Carpet Floor Mats $99

You posted this in GDD, but now that it's moved to the Fit forum, it's just a matter of minutes before it dies down.

</TD></TR></TABLE>
how could rims hurt fuel economy? thats absurd. Even on plus sizing you can do it to match stock size and it doesnt hinder economy at all.

think about it...fit sport has 15" wheels. so example: you buy 15" te37...prove to me it hurts fuel economy. it doesnt.

Actually, if you want fog lights and alloy wheels, you're better off just going with the Fit Sport, since it comes with that stuff standard. The Fit Sport comes with 15" wheels instead of the accessory 16" wheels, but I personally think 15" wheels are better for a car of this size. With that said, I would prefer the following cofiguration, which costs about the same:

My 2007
Fit Sport Manual Transmission
Base MSRP*: $15,170
Destination & Handling: $550
MSRP including selected accessories: $15,819

Selected Accessories (installation costs not included):
INTERIOR
Carpet Floor Mats $99
