Again, why do you put this much effort in caring what other people do. Live and let live.
They are responding because you can't get over yourself.

You are asking why people are jumping on this bandwagon
Why? Because it is in fact a bandwagon, thats what people do, jump on them
The same thing happened with the scions

100 whp? Did it achieve 10% driveline loss -- b/c it's only putting down 109 bhp!

Fixed that for you, fanboi.
What I don't get is $17,000 for the thing! That's Mazda 3 territory which gets relatively worse mileage but is better at everything else.

by the time you add the OEM lip kit, other options and financing...it'll cost at least 17k.

Re: Why is everyone jumping on the Honda Fit Bandwagon? (chet)
oem lip kit is not a necessity. I'm going on the site and building a resonable one and I'll tell you how much. I won't go crazy with every feature but I also won't make it a moving shell

You posted this in GDD, but now that it's moved to the Fit forum, it's just a matter of minutes before it dies down.

how could rims hurt fuel economy? thats absurd. Even on plus sizing you can do it to match stock size and it doesnt hinder economy at all.

Actually, if you want fog lights and alloy wheels, you're better off just going with the Fit Sport, since it comes with that stuff standard. The Fit Sport comes with 15" wheels instead of the accessory 16" wheels, but I personally think 15" wheels are better for a car of this size. With that said, I would prefer the following cofiguration, which costs about the same:
My 2007
Fit Sport Manual Transmission
Base MSRP*: $15,170
Destination & Handling: $550
MSRP including selected accessories: $15,819
