What do you guys think of that? Had I brought up such an idea for an Civic i would be flamed to death being told to do a manual swap.

Is the fit suppose to replace the Civic?I thought I heard/read that somwheres...

fit wont replace the civic. its just the new entry level as civic has gone up market. the the paddle on steering controls the shifting of a CVT and imo belongs to a scooter.

It is not a CVT.

Personally I don't wanna see paddle shifters unless they're attached to a SMG.

I heard it's pretty slow reacting. You hit the paddle, and then it decides when to do it after that. I'd just get the manual myself.

some of the vw and bmw sequential manuals shift pretty fast, but nothing replaces the fun of a true manual.imo sport model should come with a manual not some shitty *** automatic.

I'm 99% sure Honda of America did the Sports with a A/T option is because most of America is too stupid to know how to drive a stick It's really the same way as once again VW GTI models. It's a "Sport Tuned" car but some people want that sport look with the luxury of a A/T

I think the idea of paddles located on the steering wheel is pretty sweet.

Don't M3's have that option?
