So i have decided to get a Fit!
Hello everyone,
so I have decided to get a fit
dont know either to get the basic or the Sport
What do you guys like best?
is 1K worth the lip kit, wheels, keyless entry, remote thingy, wing,?
i think so, its not that much more a month right?
What are the downside of a fit?
i love so many things about it
but is there anything bad?
owners hit me up with information porfavor!
thank you!

some people find things in the fit as a downside, while other dont mind at all. take power for example. 109 horsepower doesnt bother me but it does to others.

this will help you get an idea of how people feel about this car. to really see what u like and dislike, my advice to you is to go out and test drive one. always a fun expierence

yea your going to have to order one, chances are they wont have an orange or blue 5spd sport at your dealer.
when i ordered my 07, i had to wait till the dealer got the VIN of the vehicle for me to place a down. after i paid the down, the car was mine right off the truck.
once again good luck gettin the color n trim u want. and good luck for having patience.

Re: (Stay JDM Yo!)
The Sport is definitely worth the price difference IMO.
1100 miles so far and I love mine. There are few things I don't like, but those are very limited.
-Downgrade in power from 300 hp STi noticeable when passing at 70 mph
-Gas mileage hasn't been as good for me as others
-No map lights
-No locking gas cap or glovebox
That's about it and those are minor gripes for me. No buyer's remorse here.

im pretty sure its the light near the rear view mirrors. usually turns on when a door opens. i could be wrong. that was my assumption comming from the name "map light"

more people want to leave their experience with owning the fit?

WHAAAAAATTT??!?!?!
No one ever mentioned those on this board yet...
Both of those things would be massively annoying--especially the possiblity of having some hater be able to pour his Mountain Dew into my gas tank...

You could say that. It's okay, this will be my daily driver. I can always buy another fast car someday.
A map light is usually located above the rear view mirror with buttons that you can push to light up the interior. I thought everyone knew what those where.

Yeah the locking cap from the Odyssey will work from what I've read on the FitFreak board. No locking glovebox isn't a big issue I guess. The fact if someone breaks into your car they might just force it open anyways.

Ohhh... I read it that it didn't have ANY glovebox. Non-locking I can live with.
Having to lock the gas cap w/ a key is still a pain in the *** in my book, though.

do you follow me everywhere?
haha. my main goal right now is getting rid of the integra.
even if it means trading it in and owing more than I should on a fit or another low end economy car haha

Re: (Stay JDM Yo!)
I've also come to the conclusion that i'm probably getting a Fit.
Currently I drive an DA, and I just want a BRAND new car. I'm definately getting a Black Sport...
