Do you think it’s a waste to use Gumout Fuel Injector and Carburetor Cleaner
every 3000 miles in my new Fit?

Preventative maintenance is never a wasteful thing...
Dunno which intervals you should use it in but why not?
I recommend the Lucas Racing products! The Lucas oil stabilizers and such are all good products. Give the Lucas fuel system cleaner and upper cylinder lube a try. About 4 bucks a bottle. Sometimes you can find it on special. Treats 25 gallons. (Probably 2 tanks in your fit!)

Its a new car so why would you bother unless your fuel filter isnt working or your gas really sucks. Sounds like a waste of money to me...
