Throttle Position Sensor Questions...
Hi guys,
So, like i posted elsewhere in this forum, I'm having some fuel mileage issues. Checked the ignition timing, that was a little advanced, so i fixed that. Then, i checked my TPS voltage. The reading, key in ignition turned all the way, but before starting, was 2.86. Opened the throttle and it didn't change at all. The CR-V runs, but it's a little sluggish occasionally, and there are no CEL's on, Which seems weird to me, if its so far out of whack. Also, as far as adjusting the TPS, it doesnt look like you can really move it in any direction at all. It appears to be the stock TPS.
Any ideas? Is the TPS just shot? If it is, why is ther no CEL? i know the bulb isn't burned, as it lights up when it goes through the check before start up.
Oh and i almost forgot, this is a 2000 CR-V -EX
Thanks in advance!

I checked the voltage on the TPS and it was right in spec. I'm starting to wonder if i have an exhaust leak, an O2 sensor going bad, or a partially clogged cat. This is driving me nuts!
So, why do you not like the Blox TPS? just curious. Im going to pick up a TPS, just to keep in my spare parts box..
