Solenoid "c" stuck open/has a hard time with reverse and O/D
Hello, I have an 04 element AWD with codes p1732 & p0797. 1732 refers to shift solenoids b/c stuck open/on. 0797 is strictly solenoid c stuck open. Steps taken to narrow down the cause
-changed and drained the fluid 3 times for a complete fluid change
- cleaned the solenoids (4) behind the solenoid cover (some improvement I think)
- swapped spots with corresponding solenoids to check for a change in gears mishifting (no change)
Going into O/D it revs high and does not engage, I can drive with it off. Just recently it starts to try and engage but seems like it's dragging or not fully engaging and if I accelerate it will start to rev again. Going into reverse it takes a few seconds and if I give some gas it will speed up the process, whereas before I cleaned the solenoids it never fully engaged. I think I'm on the right track but I really don't know what to do next, any help would be appreciated, thank you for reading.
