Rear Diff Issue
Curious if anyone has found clutchpacks for sale anywhere other than the sub assy, or if anyone has welded the viscous coupler to the pressure plate to make it a full time awd.

No. Making it full time AWD is a no go if you are driving the car on sealed hard surface. You will break the transfer case.
I am currently working RD1 diff, using air to actuate the clutchpacks to fully lock the diff when required for offroad events. This is done by bypassing/blocking some oil gallery on the diff and air is supplied by 12V 4wd air compressor.

What do you mean by "clutchpacks for sale"? Are you talking OEM or upgrades? I know of no upgrades, but OEM rebuild kits are still available for about $200...
