Rally Armor Mud Flaps! (with pics)
Hey all!
Here are some pictures of Rally Armor Basic mud flaps installed on my 2000 CR-V. I am really liking the look of them, and especially enjoy the added protection to my underside and paint work.
Rally Armor Basic Mud Flaps
Decided to try the basic ones before dropping 100+ on a set of the rally grade flappy urethane ones. So far, I am very pleased with the look and quality of these ones. They are a heavy duty UV resistant plastic, and still have a bit of flex to them, so they will not break off if you hit something or bottom out. I do still want to eventually get the urethane ones, but for now these are great!
Installation is fairly straight forward for the front pair, as it screws right into the factory screw holes with little effort. The back on the other hand is a complete pain to get a good mount. Due to the weird shape that the factory flaps fill up, I had to cut them up into a custom bracket of sorts for the Rally Armor ones. This way there is no gap between the body and the mud flap.
It took a little bit of planning, and about half a dozen trips to the hardware store, but finally got them all on the car! Hope this helps anybody thinking about doing this upgrade/project.

I bought some sparco mud flaps since rally armor didn't offer theirs in blue. Get them tomorrow and will probably install this weekend

The board are only $1.99 for a pair, though I think that includes one red and one green, so 4 packs will need to be purchased. Still a pretty sweet deal!
